A Group known as Coalition of Nigerian Youth Leaders for Peace, has berated the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Abdulwaheed Omar for allegedly calling Sokoto State Governor, Aliyu Wamako names over the faceoff between the governor and staff of Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN), even as it called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate the PHCN manager in the state.
The President of the Coalition, Mr Mike Loyibo, while speaking with newsmen in Abuja, noted that Omar lacks knowledge of the facts of the matter, therefore, he must apologise to the government and people of the state.
His words: “we have peace in Sokoto and is because of leadership, the crux of the matter is that the PHCN manager collected N17m to supply transformers and did not do anything. The governor called the man and said tell me why you must not deliver after collecting money, and told him to go deliver on the agreement.
