Barely two days after fire destroyed some parts of the Control Room in the 132KVA Amuwo Transmission Station in Lagos, officials of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN), have commenced repairs of the damaged facilities.
THISDAY gathered that the fired gutted some transmission facilities such as panel T-One and other infrastructure.
An official of the company, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said there were indications that panel T-Two may have be affected by the inferno.
However, it was confirmed that T-One, a facility in the control room which supplies electricity to FESTAC town and some part of Amuwo Odofin area was severely damaged by the inferno.
