The electricity workers’ union under the aegis of National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE) and Senior Staff Association of Electricity and Allied Companies (SSAEAC) have said that they would not accept the takeover of any PHCN facility by the investors without proper implementation of the agreement made by federal government.
Government, they said, must fulfill the agreement reached with workers before moving ahead with the privatisation programme.
The unions disclosed this while calling on their members to remain focused in their quest to ensure that government’s efforts at ensuring consistent power supply in the country was fully actualised.
