President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the reconstituted Nigerian management staff and supervisory board members for the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).
Special Assistant to the Minister of Power, Kande Daniel, in a statement said, the Nigerians are to work with the Manitoba management staff on alternate basis.
The 17-member board is under the chairmanship of Engr. Haman Tukur, while the Vice chairman is Akinsola Akinfemiwa. The members of the board include, Dr. (Engr.) Abubakar Tambuwal Atiku (Deputy Managing Director), Mr. Sunny Iroche (Director, Finance and Accounts), Mrs. Halima Aliyu (Director, Human Resources and Corporate Services) and Engr. T.O Utah (Director, Transmission Service Provider).
Others are, Engr. M.M. Gumel (Director System Operations), Mrs. Veronica Osuhor (Director Market Operations), Engr. Allen Biakpara (Director Information/Communication Technology), Barr. Fatima Lawan (General Manager, Legal Services/Company Secretary) and Mrs. Segun Olagunju (General Manager, Public Affairs).
