What is the fate of PHCN staff after privatisation?

Prof. Nebo

Sometime in May this year, I read a very interesting report on the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) based on the privatization of the company in the Independent Advocate page.
It is true that Nigerians have been hoping to hear good news from this quarter, but unfortunately, it has been rumored that the company has given a directive to the successor companies to sack the Nigerian staff of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria, and this did not augur well with the workers of the company, (PHCN)
If this is true that the workers of the PHCN will be sacked by the successor companies, the federal government was supposed to have waded into the affair.
Secondly, it would be interesting to know what the Minister of Power had to say in this aspect because it is no good news to sack workers of privatized companies (not only the (PHCN) but on many others also privatized by the federal government.
