Jonathan Urged To Intervene In Alleged N24bn TCN Fraud

 
The Senior Staff Association of Electricity and Allied Companies (SSAEAC) has called on President Goodluck Jonathan to intervene in the current imbroglio over the recent alleged N24billion fraud at the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).
SSAEAC’s President, Comrade Bede Opara made the call yesterday at an interactive session with newsmen on how, the good intentions of the federal government on constant power supply were being challenged by the non-availability of necessary materials to make power supply work.
“We call on President Jonathan to intervene in the current sealing of stores that is affecting the operations in the power sector.
“The federal government has retracted the allegation of over N24billion fraud at the headquarters of TCN, but did not reverse the order sealing the TCN’s stores, maybe because the allegations cannot be substantiated, but for the seal up of the stores, efforts by workers to carry out their operations are being stalled by non-availability of equipment...
