Electricity Distribution Companies (DisCos) have said the power sector shortfall has hit N1.5trillion, resulting in different unfavourable conditions.
They said they have lost over N30 billion of their monthly revenue due to cases of energy theft, meter bypass, vandalism and unpaid electricity bills by consumers.
The DisCos disclosed this in a statement by the Association of Nigerian Electricity Distributors (ANED) on Thursday.
